Because we wanted to strengthen capacity of our members and members of members, because we wanted to encourage great initiatives in development education and because we believed DEEEP was a mechanism that had to answer your needs with adapted answers, we were happy to co-fund 15 national seminars (5 seminars per year) with a grant of up to €3,600 each for CONCORD and DARE Forum members.
We have launched the call for 2015 at the end of 2014. By March 2015, 8 organisations have selected, they have been granted with the amount of 3.600 euro per seminar.
We offered the possibility to CONCORD members represented in the DARE Forum to receive a grant of up to €3,600 for a seminar.
Back in 2013:
With the objective of facilitating the European development education sector and overcoming their national capacity needs, the call provided a budget of up to €3,600 for 4 national seminars:
- The Portuguese Platform of NGDOs with their “Educators, Facilitators or Change Makers? The role of Development Education in promoting systemic change” seminar.
- The Hellenic Platform for Development with their “Engaging Citizens in Political Debate“seminar.
- Coordinadora ONG para el Desarollo Espana with their seminar named “Global Citizenship as a motor of Change“.
- The Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation with their seminar “Localizing global issues: Development of methodology for grassroots informing, empowerment and social inclusion“.
“Change with innovation, inspiration and connection”, these were definitely the keywords for the 2013 edition.
